who is mish?

Hey there! I am Mish.

I'm a 33 year old Darwin born, Perth hills raised gal.
Living in sunny ol' Perth, engaged to my best friend, and have the most gorgeous 12 year old lab x bluey called Lilly who's the best sidekick one could ask for.

Welcome to the adventures of mish - a blog about the adventures in my life, big or small. From the kitchen, to out in the big wide world, to just around the corner, or just from the chair by the bookshelf. Whatever floats my boat really, and I hope that there's a few of you out there that enjoy reading what I write about.

Here's 7 fun facts about me
(because, you know, every one likes some fun facts)

Fact #1 - my preferred way to cook: music loud & dancing.

Fact #2 - I have a degree in hospitality and tourism management, and a graduate diploma in photo media.

Fact #3 - my favourite vegetable is broccoli. A close second would be sweet potato. In the fruit department, you had me at mango & pineapple.

Fact #4 - I’ve played the violin since I was 8, and believe music feeds the soul. Dancing too. Rocking out in the car, singing aloud is a daily ritual for me.

Fact #5 - I'm a big sweet tooth. Give me (a gluten and lactose free) dessert any second/minute/hour/day and I'll be a happy one.

Fact #6 - I always tear up when cutting onions. Always.

Fact #7 - I’m not too much of a city person, a hills girl at heart forever, I’m happy as a clam out in the sticks. I love down south, up north, out east, it feels like home. But I do love a good cafe and bookshop.

Lilly's favourite things:

She loves food (it's life, being part Lab and all), ball, walkies, car rides, the beach, sunbaking, and when her favourite humans come home.

Lilly dislikes raw carrot, the vacuum, us giving her a bath, and when her humans go somewhere without her.

Her favourite humans will be getting married on her 13th birthday, because that's how much she is loved. 💕

And V (best friend and husband to be).. he'll pop on here every now and then but I'll just refer to him as V or the Mr. 😉
